The primary responsibility is to support the existing or implement new Windows Infrastructure.
The Person should have knowledge at L3 level and will be responsible for day to day operational issues, requests and project tasks involving various technologies – ie, Windows Servers, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, NAP, RADIUS Server, Certificate, MS SQL, Patching tools(WSUS), Server hardware (Blade, Dell, IBM & HP), AV(SEP), Citrix Xen App Servers and Desktops, Creating and Publishing the new applications in Citrix Environment, SharePoint, IIS, File shares, TSM Backup, Cluster Servers, Basic knowledge of storage & networking, both Proxy and reverse proxy, Exchange, Power shell Scripting, Disk Mirroring, RAID etc..
Person will responsible for providing senior level of support for Wintel team, handle the escalated issues and requests from juniors while adhering to SLAs, provide on call support 24x7(in rotation with team members)
Incident Management: Resolve single and cross technology incidents independently. Work with team members to resolve unusually complex or cross technology incidents.
Responsible for taking care of the tickets, CRs (Tool: HPSM, update the ticket, resolve), Monitoring mails, alerts and replying to the customers while strictly adhering to SLAs
Customer Relationship Management: daily interactions with customer, influence with customers and/or internal businesses/end users regarding operational details, providing solutions and proposals. Be considered a trusted advisor to the customer.
Change Management/Implementation: Independently review, implement and verify changes/solutions of high complexity and risk to meet customer and/or future infrastructure needs. May lead or participate in a Change Advisory Board. Responsible for creating, reviewing and modifying various documentation, participating in various CAB meetings and on call duty
Must-have Skills:
Must have a hands-on experience of system administration of Windows server side infrastructure (Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP) Banking Application servers (Print, Batch, Job, FTP, media streaming), License servers, Enterprise and Certificate servers, Exchange, TSM Backup, Citrix Servers (Host in Linux environment), Creating new application and publishing in Citrix desktops, File and Share folder servers, Cluster Servers, Proxy, MS SQL. Various Schedules jobs, Share Point servers, IIS, Creating new Virtual Desktops and servers through Citrix. DFS servers and troubleshoot. SAN storage, NTFS and FAT32 concept. Capturing, Deleting and reverting snapshots of the VM.
User Management on AD Servers, Web Servers, Share point, Outlook and File & Share Folder servers.
Must have worked on enterprise-grade server hardware (Install, Configure and Maintain) IBM, HP and Dell Rack Servers
Must have knowledge of critical services switch from Servers in one DC to another DC as a part of BCP and DR recovery
